I’ve been scouring the internet for healthy / clean eating/ Paleo game day snack ideas. We’re going over to a friends on Sunday to watch the game, they are Paleo and I’m a vegetarian. Which makes finding appropriate snacks a challenge, luckily my husband will eat pretty much anything. I’ve also been looking for easy and quick dishes because I have to work part of the day and don’t have the time to be cooking all day.
I’ve got some Asparagus in the fridge right now, so roasted asparagus seems like a good idea.
Buffalo Cauliflower as been increasing in popularity, although I haven’t tried it yet. This may be the weekend to do just that!
This Mediterranean Tabbouleh hummus dip looks good too.
Mini Caprese is always a good choice, we even had them at our wedding.
This skinny chopped veggie salad looks really good!
You also can’t go wrong with a 7 layer salad and my refreshing guacamole.
- sea salt
- Cut open the avocado, take out the pit and scoop the contents out into a bowl.
- Mash the avocado with a bit of lime juice and sea salt to taste.
- Optional: adding garlic powder.
- The number of avocados you buy, and mash determines how much guacamole you get, if its just you, one avocado is fine, but for a party, go for about 6 avocados.
Obviously I won’t make all of this, but its a start for ideas. Any other healthy snack ideas?
